First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests if a cooling cap can prevent hair loss in 102 women with advanced solid tumors who are starting a type of chemotherapy called antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). Half will use the scalp cooling system during treatment, while the other half will not. The goal is to see if cooling the scalp reduces the amount of hair loss, as measured by a standard hair-loss scale.
