Summary
This pilot study tested a scalp cooling device (Paxman) to prevent hair loss in 9 people with advanced pancreatic cancer receiving chemotherapy. The goal was to see if the cap could keep hair loss mild (less than 50% hair loss) and improve comfort. Results focused on hair preservation and patient distress.
