New ultrasound trick spots liver cancer treatment success days earlier

This study tested a new ultrasound technique (Side-by-Side Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound) to see if it could accurately check whether microwave ablation fully destroyed liver tumors just 1-3 days after treatment. Researchers compared it to standard contrast-enhanced ultrasound in 106 patients with liver cancer. The goal was to see if this method could provide earlier and more reliable results than waiting a month for standard scans.
