Zapping cancer spots may extend immunotherapy success in kidney cancer
NCT ID NCT04974671
First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving focused radiation to a few growing cancer spots can help people with advanced kidney cancer stay on their current immunotherapy longer. About 30 adults whose cancer has progressed in 1 to 5 spots while on immunotherapy will receive radiation to those spots and continue their same drug treatment. The goal is to see if this approach delays further cancer growth and avoids switching to a different therapy.
