Targeted radiation may extend life for patients with limited bone metastases
NCT ID NCT03143322
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a high-precision type of radiation called SBRT to usual cancer treatments (like hormone therapy or chemo) can delay cancer growth in people with breast, lung, or prostate cancer that has spread to 1 to 5 bones. About 168 adults aged 18-75 with good overall health are taking part. The goal is to see if the extra radiation improves how long the cancer stays under control.
