Could a simple kit stop another stroke? new study tests reminder system
NCT ID NCT07414732
Summary
This study is testing if a new support tool called 'Savvy' can help people who have had a stroke remember to take their blood pressure medicine. The tool includes a weekly pill organizer, text message reminders, and short phone exercises. Researchers will compare 150 stroke survivors using Savvy to a group receiving standard educational materials to see if it improves medication habits and blood pressure control over six months.
