NCT ID NCT07550582

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new surgical method for removing non-cancerous or early cancerous growths (submucosal tumors) located where the stomach meets the esophagus. The technique combines two types of scopes (laparoscope and endoscope) with a special step to prepare the blood vessels before cutting. About 40 adults aged 18-80 with tumors 1-5 cm in size will be enrolled. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective, reducing the need for open surgery and complications.
