NCT ID NCT07354386
Summary
This study is testing whether eating dried Saskatoon berries daily can help people with prediabetes or newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes. Researchers will compare the effects of the berries against dried apples over 12 weeks in 92 participants. The main goal is to see if the berries improve blood sugar, cholesterol, and gut health as a potential natural dietary supplement for managing these conditions.
