Could muscle strength predict your surgery recovery?
NCT ID NCT05346185
Summary
This study aims to understand if having low muscle mass (sarcopenia) before lung cancer surgery affects how well patients recover afterward. Researchers will follow 400 elderly patients undergoing surgery to see if muscle measurements can help predict their survival, complications, and quality of life. This is an observational study, meaning it collects information but does not test a new treatment.
