Summary

This study is looking at whether having low muscle mass (sarcopenia) before lung cancer surgery affects how well patients recover. Researchers are following 400 older adults who are having surgery to remove lung cancer. They want to see if muscle loss can help predict survival and other health outcomes after the operation.
