First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study will check how common sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss) is in 100 elderly people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will use bedside muscle ultrasound and handgrip strength tests to measure muscle health, and a questionnaire to see how it affects quality of life. The goal is to better understand the link between diabetes and muscle decline.
