Summary
This study tested whether a serum with low amounts of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) and polyglutamate acid is safe for people with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (dark spots after skin injury). 34 healthy Malaysian adults used the serum for 8 weeks. Researchers checked for side effects and measured skin moisture and spot changes at 4 and 8 weeks.
