Summary
This study looks at whether a program called Safe Night Out, which trains bar staff to check on patrons and step in when needed, can reduce sexual and intimate partner violence in drinking establishments. Researchers will enroll 150 staff and 500 patrons from 50 bars in California, comparing those with the program to those without. Participants will report their experiences over 18 months to see if the program makes a difference.
