New Play-Based therapy shows promise for babies at risk of developmental delays

Summary
This study tests a new early therapy called SAFE for babies aged 3-12 months who are at high risk for developmental problems due to conditions like prematurity or brain injury. About 34 infants will receive either SAFE or standard therapy for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if SAFE improves arm and hand function, fine motor skills, and quality of life better than current treatments.
