New hope for Hard-to-Treat breast cancer: drug combo trial launches
NCT ID NCT04468061
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding pembrolizumab to sacituzumab govitecan helps control metastatic triple-negative breast cancer that is PD-L1-negative. About 110 adults with advanced TNBC will be randomly assigned to receive either the combination or sacituzumab alone. The goal is to see if the combo slows cancer growth better than the single drug.
