NCT ID NCT03964285
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at how thinking too much about pain (rumination) affects mood after physical activity in people with fibromyalgia. 47 adults completed questionnaires about their emotions and pain before and after an activity. The goal was to see if rumination makes negative feelings worse after exercise, and if distraction might be a better coping strategy.
