Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called RTP-026 in people who have had a severe type of heart attack (STEMI). The goal is to see if the drug can reduce heart muscle damage when given alongside standard emergency treatment. About 96 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo, and researchers will measure heart damage markers in the blood. The study is in Phase 2, meaning it is still early and focused on safety and initial effectiveness.
