Summary
This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can reduce negative symptoms of schizophrenia, such as lack of motivation, social withdrawal, and flat emotions. About 62 adults with schizophrenia and persistent negative symptoms will receive either real or sham rTMS over the left front of the brain. The goal is to see if this treatment can improve daily functioning and quality of life.
