First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether a painless, non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can help treat depression in adults with autism. Depression is very common in people with autism, but standard antidepressants often don't work well or cause side effects. The study will enroll 25 participants and track mood changes, thinking skills, and repetitive behaviors before and after treatment.
