First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether an injection of RP-008 followed by a daily varenicline pill is safe and can reduce pain for people with trigeminal neuralgia, a condition causing severe facial pain attacks. About 24 adults aged 18-80 with classic or idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia will receive the treatment. The main goal is to check safety and see if pain attacks become less frequent or severe.
