Laser showdown: can light therapy tame the 'Suicide Disease'?
NCT ID NCT07590414
First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026
Summary
This study compares two non-invasive laser treatments—high-intensity and low-level—for people with trigeminal neuralgia, a condition causing severe facial pain. About 38 adults who haven't found relief from medication or can't have surgery will receive one of the laser therapies. The goal is to see which better reduces pain and improves daily life over 12 weeks.
