Summary
This study tested whether a nasal spray made with rose geranium oil in sesame oil can improve nose symptoms like dryness, discomfort, bleeding, or scabbing in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. About 106 adults with cancer and nose symptoms joined this phase III trial. Half used the rose geranium spray and half used a plain saline spray for two weeks, and researchers compared how much their main symptom improved.
