Scientists uncover immune cell clues in rare bone marrow disease
NCT ID NCT07319026
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at 70 people—some with primary myelofibrosis (a rare bone marrow disorder) and some healthy—to understand how certain immune cells called MDSCs fuel inflammation and blood vessel growth in the disease. Researchers measured these cells in blood and spleen samples and checked how they change with treatment. The goal is to find new targets for future therapies.
