Robot helps brain injury patients walk again

NCT ID NCT05934773

Summary

This study tested a new, personalized walking and balance training program for people recovering from a stroke or traumatic brain injury. It used a robotic treadmill device to help physical therapists safely challenge patients during rehabilitation sessions. The goal was to see if this approach could improve walking speed, endurance, and balance better than standard care alone.
