NCT ID NCT07236359
First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 37 times
Summary
This study compares two types of nipple-sparing mastectomy: robotic single-port surgery through a small hidden incision versus standard open surgery. Researchers want to see which approach leads to better patient satisfaction, body image, and recovery over 12 months. About 108 women with breast cancer or high genetic risk will take part. The goal is to find out if the robotic method reduces pain, scarring, and downtime while keeping the breast looking natural.
