Robotic surgery under the microscope: can it handle tough lung cancer cases after chemoimmunotherapy?
NCT ID NCT07541521
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is observing 100 people with stage IIB-III non-small cell lung cancer who have already received chemotherapy and immunotherapy. After that treatment, they will have robotic-assisted sleeve lobectomy (a type of lung surgery). The goal is to see how often the surgery is unsuccessful—meaning it has to be switched to open surgery, doesn't remove all cancer, or causes major complications. Surgeons will also rate how difficult the surgery feels. This is an observational study, not testing a new treatment.
