Robots take on IBD: a new hope for surgery?

Summary
This study looks at whether robotic surgery is a good option for people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. About 100 adults having minimally invasive surgery for IBD will take part. The goal is to see if robotic surgery is technically possible and how it compares to standard laparoscopic surgery in terms of blood loss, operation time, and setup.
