Robots step in to help stroke survivors walk again

NCT ID NCT06273475

Summary

This study is testing whether robot-assisted training is better than standard physical therapy for improving movement and walking in people recovering from a stroke. It will involve 40 participants who are 6 to 24 months post-stroke and have moderate to severe movement difficulties. The main goal is to see if using a robot to support body weight during walking practice leads to better recovery of leg function and overall quality of life.
