NCT ID NCT03049410
First seen May 21, 2026 ยท Last updated May 21, 2026
Summary
This study compared two types of bladder removal surgery for people with bladder cancer: robot-assisted surgery and traditional open surgery. The main goal was to see which approach helped patients spend more days at home (alive and out of the hospital) in the first 90 days after surgery. The trial included 339 adults with non-muscle invasive or muscle invasive bladder cancer who were already planning to have their bladder removed.
