New drug combo aims to restore heart blood flow after stent surgery

Summary

This study tests whether adding the blood thinner rivaroxaban to standard aspirin and clopidogrel can improve slow blood flow in heart attack patients who just had a stent placed. About 60 adults will receive either the triple therapy or standard dual therapy for one month. Researchers will measure blood flow changes and track heart events and bleeding over one year.
