Summary
This study tested whether rimegepant, a drug used for migraines, can reduce chronic abdominal pain in people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). 39 adults with non-constipation IBS took the medicine and reported their pain levels daily. The goal was to see if the drug could ease pain and improve bowel habits.
