Summary

This study tested a new training program designed to help autistic adults learn to use rideshare apps like Uber or Lyft. The goal was to see if the training was helpful and acceptable, and if it could increase safe, independent travel for community activities, work, or socializing. Researchers worked with 13 autistic adults in Virginia to evaluate the program's effectiveness.
