Summary
This phase 2 trial tested two strengths of rhNGF eye drops against a placebo in 317 adults with moderate-to-severe dry eye disease. Participants used the drops three times a day for 4 weeks, followed by 4 weeks of monitoring. The goal was to see if the drops could improve dry eye symptoms and increase tear production better than placebo.
