New shot could ease pain after gallbladder surgery

Summary

This study tests a new type of nerve block (called revised-PVB) to see if it reduces pain and helps people recover faster after gallbladder removal surgery. About 250 adults having this surgery will either get the new block or standard care. The goal is to improve comfort and quality of recovery in the first few days after the operation.
