First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests if glucose-lowering drugs (semaglutide and dapagliflozin) can return blood sugar to normal in people with prediabetes and heart disease. About 158 adults will either get the medication plus lifestyle advice or standard care. The goal is to see if treatment can prevent diabetes and reduce damage to eyes, kidneys, and nerves.
