Summary
This study looked at whether a quick, painless eye scan can detect early signs of Alzheimer's disease. Researchers measured the thickness of the retina's nerve layer in 200 older adults, some with Alzheimer's and some without. The goal was to see if changes in the eye could serve as an early warning sign for brain changes related to Alzheimer's.
