First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether giving less fluid to newborns with transient tachypnea (rapid breathing) helps them get better sooner. Fifty babies were randomly assigned to receive either restricted or standard fluid therapy. The main goals were to see how long they needed breathing support and how long they stayed in the hospital.
