Summary

This study tested a probiotic called INF108F in 20 breastfed infants with food protein-induced allergic proctocolitis (FPIAP), a condition causing blood in stool and digestive discomfort. The goal was to see if the probiotic could improve gut microbiome balance and reduce symptoms like reflux, feeding issues, and irregular stools. The study was completed and compared the probiotic against a placebo.
