Summary
This study created and tested a simple scoring system called RESPIRE to help doctors quickly identify pneumonia caused by drug-resistant bacteria. Researchers looked at data from 300 adults who came to the emergency room with pneumonia. The goal is to help doctors choose the right antibiotics sooner, improving treatment and reducing the spread of resistant germs.
