Summary
This study will collect nose or saliva samples from up to 25,000 people who visit their doctor with a sudden fever and breathing symptoms during fall and winter. The goal is to track which viruses—like flu, COVID-19, RSV, or rhinovirus—are circulating in the community. The information will help public health officials understand how these viruses spread and how well vaccines are working.
