NCT ID NCT01386710
First seen Jun 02, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 02, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new way to deliver two cancer drugs (bevacizumab and carboplatin) directly to the brain through an artery for people with recurrent glioblastoma or anaplastic astrocytoma. The goal is to see if repeated doses are safe and can shrink tumors or slow their growth better than standard intravenous therapy. The trial involves 54 adults whose tumors have come back after initial treatment.
