Summary
This study explores whether a computer algorithm can analyze resting-state MRI scans taken before surgery to predict how long a person with glioblastoma multiforme (a type of brain cancer) might survive. The goal is to see if the algorithm can accurately classify patients as short-term or long-term survivors, which could help guide treatment decisions. The study involves 100 adults with suspected glioblastoma who are scheduled for surgery and a pre-operative MRI.
