Wearable sensors track brain disease from home

NCT ID NCT05956834

Summary

This study aims to develop and test a remote monitoring system for people with frontotemporal dementia and related disorders like Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). Researchers will enroll 60 participants with PSP and follow them for 12 months using wearable sensors and mobile apps to track their movement, speech, and daily function. The goal is to create a tool that can help doctors monitor these conditions remotely without requiring frequent clinic visits.
