New pill aims to keep heart in rhythm for months

Summary
This study tests a new tablet called Refralon to see if it can prevent atrial fibrillation or flutter from returning after the heart's normal rhythm has been restored. About 175 adults with persistent AFib or flutter will take either a low or high dose of Refralon or a placebo daily for 6 months. The main goal is to see how many people stay in normal rhythm by the end of the study.
