First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether combining foot reflexology with a cold pack before chest tube removal can lower pain and anxiety in heart surgery patients. About 108 adults who had bypass surgery will be randomly assigned to receive the combined treatment or standard care. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to improve comfort during this common but painful procedure.
