Study aims to cut unneeded meds for mental health patients

Summary
This study tests a program to reduce or stop anticholinergic medications in adults with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or other serious mental illnesses when these drugs are no longer needed. About 111 participants from UPMC clinics will be guided to taper off these medications safely. The goal is to improve memory and thinking by removing unnecessary drugs.
