First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 42 times

Summary

This study compares two virtual group programs—one focused on emotions, the other on problem-solving—to help adults with type 1 diabetes feel less distressed about their condition. About 200 participants aged 30 and older with elevated diabetes distress will take part. Those who don't improve after the first program will be offered extra one-on-one sessions tailored to their needs.
