Summary
This study is testing a new program in nursing homes to improve how suspected infections are managed in residents with dementia. It aims to see if the program can safely reduce the use of antibiotics and avoid stressful hospital trips and tests. The study will involve about 750 residents across 50 nursing homes, comparing the new program to usual care.
