Could fewer stents mean better recovery after a heart attack?
NCT ID NCT06353594
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares a new approach using fewer stents and a drug-coated balloon to the standard method of placing stents in heart attack patients. About 1,272 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to see if the reduced-stent strategy lowers the risk of future heart problems.
