Summary

This study tests whether a lower dose of the drug cyclophosphamide, given after a stem cell transplant from a partially matched donor, can reduce serious infections in the first 100 days while still preventing graft-versus-host disease (a common complication where donor cells attack the patient's body). About 313 adults with various blood cancers will receive the reduced dose. The goal is to improve recovery without increasing the risk of the donor cells attacking the patient.
